The Career Of Becoming A Physical Therapist - 1299 Words

Physical Therapist By AJ Kozman Algebra 1 Period 3/7 Mrs. Kamerman December 9, 2015 Physical Therapist Research After receiving my high-school degree, I would like to pursue the career of becoming a physical therapist. I would like to do this career because I want to help and serve my community by helping them regain their strength. Also, I have seen multiple people, including myself, become injured without the help of physical therapy I might not have been able to participate in sports and even possibly do easy daily movements. For this job, I will help patients who have started to recover from an injury and/or surgery by helping them strengthen the injured part of their body. I also want to teach people how to use medical tools like wheelchairs, scooters, and braces. My average annual salary will be around $81,030. My average salary will be dependent on how long I have been working, where I work, who I work for, who my patients are, how the economy is, and even where we are in the oldest generation (if they are starting to get a lot of replacements). I have spoken with physical therapists and some of their likes and dislikes about working as a physical therapists, and they said; â€Å"Being able to help heal people, as well as being able to experiment (more like play) with the innovative medical tools.
